The global challenges and 4.0 technologies for a competitive foundry industry will be the principal topics at the IX International Technical Foundry Forum, to be held in Bilbao (7th and 8th June 2017).
Organised by the TABIRA Foundry Institute and the IK4-AZTERLAN Metallurgical Technical Centre, the event will feature international specialists sharing their knowledge and technical innovations with an international audience from foundries, material and equipment suppliers, casting buyers and designers, machining, diecasting and heat treatment companies, technological centres and universities.
The event will be held at the BEC-Bilbao Exhibition Centre, Bilbao, Spain and the official languages are English and Spanish (simultaneous translation). Topics covered will include: a report on the world foundry industry, current experiences of Industry 4.0 in the foundry sector, case studies, 3D printing for serial production, environmental and health and safety issues, melt degassing, binder application and refractory solutions.
The cost of attendance is €250.00 for general admission and €125.00 for Associate Members of the TABIRA Foundry Institute or DEE-AED. Registration is now open.
